The meat cuts are quite different compared to the United States here in Belgium. Most of the beef at stores is trimmed of any fat, and is presented like filet mignon. You have to search a little to find a rib-eye or strip steak...I definitely need to become friends with a butcher if I plan to make some of my staple recipes.
